Pengaruh Stimulasi Biblioterapi terhadap Perkembangan Bahasa Anak Usia 3 Tahun di Taman Posyandu (TAPOS)

Abstract

Language development in children aged 3 years was an aspect that must get serious attention because it is one indicator of the overall development. Bibliotherapy stimulation can stimulate aspects of children’s language optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stimulation bibliotherapy on the language development of 3-year-old children in Kantil 2 Posyandu Park Karangrejo village Ngasem. Research design was pre-experimental with a one group pre-post test approach. The population of 3 years old children as many as 140 children, a sample of 35 respondents, taken by purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by observation sheet and analyzed by Wilcoxon test with the Wilcoxon test result ρ value 0,000 <  α = 0,05 then Ho was rejected which meant there was an influence of bibliotherapy stimulation on the language development of 3-year-old children in Kantil 2 Posyandu Park Karangrejo village Ngasem. The result of the research were obtained before bibliotherapy stimulation, as much 18 respondents (51,4%) were at the level of development of languages with suspect categories. After stimulation of bibliotherapy, as much 24 respondents (68,6%) were at the level of development of languages with normal categories. Bibliotherapy stimulation research could improve the language development of 3-year-olds. Bibliotherapy stimulation could be apllied as one of the nursing interventions to improve the language development of children aged 3 years.
